Incubation

In this phase, the project will focus on the development of the technological part of the project, meeting the objectives set in the acceleration phase and directing the project to a form interesting for external investors. It means, for example, setting up a start-up or establishing cooperation with an industrial partner.

preincubation2.png
Pre-incubation

During the pre-incubation process, the mutual relationships between the project originator, i&i Prague and all other stakeholders are clarified. The result of this phase is the incubation agreement, which clarifies all rights and obligations, including future licensing options, shares in the newly created IP or startup, etc.

The goal of acceleration is to assemble a functional team to ensure the further development of the project, to set project goals, to establish a financial plan, etc. At the end of this phase, an evaluation by the i&i Prague Investment Board will take place, which will decide whether the project should be advanced to the next incubation phase or terminated.
