Within our incubator, the companies have direct access to consulting and support services to help them apply new technologies and knowledge in business practice.
We are looking for technologies with high innovation potential in the field of bio-technologies. We offer them external project assessment, connection to major research institutions and their experts, professional coordination and management of the acceleration phase of their projects.
Human potential development
We offer access to a range of additional training and educational activities in areas related to entrepreneurship, business management and development, project management, HR management, etc.
Projects submitted to our incubator are always evaluated by a three-member committee, which decides whether the project will be accepted or not. The committee consists of representatives of i&i Prague and the incubator manager.
In this phase, the project will focus on the development of the technological part of the project, meeting the objectives set in the acceleration phase and directing the project to a form interesting for external investors. It means, for example, setting up a start-up or establishing cooperation with an industrial partner.
During the pre-incubation process, the mutual relationships between the project originator, i&i Prague and all other stakeholders are clarified. The result of this phase is the incubation agreement, which clarifies all rights and obligations, including future licensing options, shares in the newly created IP or startup, etc.
The pre-seed phase of incubation is for the finalisation of the project. The goal is e.g. to establish a startup/spin-off or to start the process of finding investors or partners.
The goal of acceleration is to assemble a functional team to ensure the further development of the project, to set project goals, to establish a financial plan, etc. At the end of this phase, an evaluation by the i&i Prague Investment Board will take place, which will decide whether the project should be advanced to the next incubation phase or terminated.
