At i&i Prague, we identify promising technologies and research projects and help transform them into successful biotech, medtech and diagnostics startups, with a strong focus on the CEE region.
We are looking for a Junior Incubation & Market Intelligence Manager to support technology scouting, project incubation and market intelligence, while helping our team make effective use of AI and digital tools.
What you will do

Scout promising technologies and early-stage projects across CEE, particularly Czechia and Poland.

Assess technology, IP, market potential, team readiness, competition and commercialization opportunities.

Research emerging technologies, markets, competitors, customers and industry trends.

Work with researchers and project teams to understand technologies, applications and development needs.

Support customer discovery, market validation and technology transfer.

Drive project development by defining priorities, milestones and next steps.

Prepare projects for industry partnerships, licensing, investment and company formation.

Help transform promising projects into viable businesses and spin-offs.

Explore and implement AI tools and automation for scouting, market analysis, project evaluation and internal workflows.

Turn complex scientific and commercial information into clear, actionable recommendations for incubation and investment decisions.
What we are looking for

University degree in biotech, life sciences, medtech, diagnostics or a related scientific field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in technology scouting, technology transfer, consulting, startups or project management.

Strong market research and analytical skills, including market, competitor and customer analysis.

Commercial mindset and ability to translate scientific opportunities into commercial potential.

Practical experience implementing AI-powered workflows for research, scouting, analysis and internal processes.

Proactive and independent approach, strong communication skills and willingness to take ownership.

Fluent Czech is essential, along with a strong command of English.
